A 5.2-magnitude quake hit Laft district in southern Iranian island of Qeshm on Sunday, IRNA reported.

The tremor occurred at 14:24 local time (10:54 GMT) at the depth of 10 km underground, according to the Seismological Center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University.

There are no immediate reports of the possible damages of the quake.
