As per the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR), the work which the Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) of Armenia conducted during the last snap election in the country is considered to be successful, and it can be useful the for human rights organizations in other countries.

Taking this track-record into account, Armenia’s Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan delivered an address at the United Nations Office at Geneva, Switzerland, and presented his activities during the aforementioned election.

Subsequently, the OSCE/ODIHR high-ranking representative presented him as a reliable partner.
