Also, the deputy PM reflected on the precepts and priorities of the Armenian government program, and stressed that it is based on an inclusive growth model that is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Egger, for her part, noted that the UNDP stands ready to assist in the reforms which the Armenian government has launched.

The interlocutors discussed, in particular, the prospects for cooperation in the context of the reforms to be implemented in Armenia, and in several domains.

Subsequently, the Armenian deputy PM and the UNDP official attended the opening of the new office of the Armenia National SDG Innovation Lab, and the launch of Travelinsghts—the first tool which this lab has created.

In his remarks at the event, Avinyan noted, above all, that Armenia, together with other UN member states, has undertaken a commitment to implementing the seventeen SDGs by the year 2030.

The deputy PM added that the Armenia National SDG Innovation Lab has become a prototype for the similar labs which the UNDP has established in sixty countries.
