Two US soldiers have been killed as a result of an operation in Afghanistan, Reuters reported referring to NATO’s Resolute Support mission statement.  

According to the source, the mission of the US military is to guide and assist the Afghan forces fighting the Taliban.

Since the beginning of 2019, a total of four US soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan.

According to the US and NATO, since January 2015, a total of 65 American soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan.
