Four people have been killed. 31 injured as two explosions went off at a celebration in a stadium in the Afghanistan on Saturday, Reuters reported.

Explosions thundered during the celebration of the National Farmer Day.

The governor of Helmand province, Mohammad Yasin Khan, was knocked over by the blasts, but suffered only superficial injuries, a spokesperson said.

The Pazhvak Agency, citing an eyewitness, reported seven dead. Tolo News TV channel, citing sources reports that at least 16 people were injured during the explosion, among them are security officers and local officials. Khaama Press agency reported four dead.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
