Today, the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) and all Armenians are in a very serious information war, and they have been in this war for a long time. This is what Deputy of the Prosperous Armenia faction Arman Abovyan declared during the hour of statements at the National Assembly on 26 March.
“Lying obscenely, Turkey and Azerbaijan always try to substantiate the policy of hatred against Armenians that they adopted years ago,” he stated, recalling that the 10th of April marks the 27th anniversary of the Maraga massacre.
“I believe the National Assembly needs to make a special statement on this matter and take certain actions that will remind Armenia what kind of a country it’s dealing with and what kind of a country it’s negotiating with. This will also serve as another opportunity to show the international community the real image of the country with which Armenia is trying to reach certain agreements,” Abovyan said.
The MP said it is clear that the kindness, fairness and humanitarianism of Armenia is perceived as a weakness and added that Armenia needs to speak about these events with representatives of the international organizations within which it is represented.
