The Prosperous Armenia Party will unequivocally vote against the package of bills on making amendments and supplements to the Law “On the structure and activities of the Government” proposed by the government. This is what deputy of the Prosperous Armenia Party Mikayel Melkumyan said during a discussion on the packages of bills on making amendments and supplements to the Law “On the structure and activities of the Government” and related laws during the session of the National Assembly on 17 April.

According to him, there has to be some logic in the structure of the government. “The government hasn’t proved and can’t prove how much more the government will work with the new structure that it is proposing. The mistake that the government made in the program of the government is the same mistake that it made when changing the government’s structure, and the reason for this is that there is no calculation mechanism,” Melkumyan clarified. Moreover, the deputy stressed the fact that an economic revolution will be impossible with the structure proposed by the government.
