YEREVAN. – Supporters of Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan who were detained in downtown Yerevan earlier today are being released.
One of those detained told reporters police made no demands, “they submitted a protocol on administrative violation, which we did not sign.”
Six people were detained as a result of a scuffle between Kocharyan’s supporters and police officers.
