The movement for the liberation of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) is one of the major creations of the Armenian people. This is what President of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan declared in his speech at the rally taking place at Renaissance Square in Stepanakert. Among the participants is Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.

Tomorrow marks the opening of the 7th Pan-Armenian Summer Games in Stepanakert.

The President of Artsakh affirmed that the Armenian people have undergone many trials and tribulations and experienced ups-and-downs throughout history, but what we have now is our holy land.

“What we gained is the following: man and humanism are the highest values. With this in mind, 31 years ago, the people of Artsakh rose to their feet and declared that they won’t tolerate the violation of national dignity and self-esteem,” Bako Sahakyan declared and recalled that Armenia and the Diaspora were the first to respond.

“We overcame the difficulties of the war, are solving the social issues and entered the stage of sustainable development together. Today, 31 years later, I declare that Artsakh is ready and determined to accomplish a part of the mission and will unconditionally dedicate itself to shape victories,” Bako Sahakyan stated.

Greeting the Prime Minister, as well as Armenians from Armenia and the Diaspora, Bako Sahakyan stated that the course that Artsakh has chosen is irreversible and that, regardless of the events, the people of Artsakh will aspire to achieve their goals and dreams.
