Today it’s a celebration in our homeland because thousands of children of our people have come together in Artsakh, the citadel of the dignity of Armenians, and we enjoy the joy of being together. The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, stated this at Tuesday evening’s opening ceremony of the 7th Pan-Armenian Summer Games, in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

“We [Armenians] have come together in Artsakh to enjoy, sense the power of our unity, to realize that we are invincible when we are united,” Pashinyan also said. “We have come together to record that we have a history, that we have identity, we have statehood, and we have the will to continue the millennia-long triumphant march of our people in the new millennium. Today we have come together to voice our strong and unyielding will, our will to triumph, our will to live, to create, to develop our statehood.”

In Pashinyan’s words, the thousands of representatives of the 7th Pan-Armenian Summer Games will educate, empower, and develop the Armenian people’s will and skills to triumph.
