The Constitution will not be changed for political reasons in Armenia, Armenian Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan told reporters on Thursday.

His remarks came in response to comment on intentions to introduce reforms in the country's Basic Law.

According to him, the justice sector in the country needs reforms, and some of them cannot be implemented without constitutional changes.

Armen Grigoryan noted that the constitutional reforms will not be dictated by political goals, but by the desire to improve the justice system.
