Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan received today Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia Seyyed Kazem Sajjadi at the request of the letter.

Ambassador Sajjadi informed about the end of his four-year term of office and the work completed during his diplomatic mission and expressed gratitude for the support that various government agencies of Armenia have provided to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this period.

During the meeting held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, Grigoryan stated that, throughout the centuries, the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran have proved that they both have the desire to maintain and enhance the high-level political, economic and cultural ties.

Highly appreciating the rich history of mutual assistance and partnership between the two countries and peoples, Secretary Grigoryan also expressed gratitude to Ambassador Sajjadi for his work and dedication and wished him success in the future.
