YEREVAN. – I was at the government [building] in the morning, and I got fully familiarized—at the special secret first section—with the classified report pointed by the Prime Minister. Edmon Marukyan, head of the opposition Bright Armenia faction in the National Assembly, on Friday noted this in a Facebook livestream.

“The various-caliber figures of the former (…) authorities were noting that the classified report noted by the Prime Minister doesn’t exist,” Marukyan added. “I have gotten familiarized with the report, which is extremely classified, and I insist that that report exists.

“Basically, it’s about our situation, written back in 2014, [about] what the state of Armenia is and what things need to be done. We will do those things and move Armenia forward. Nothing will just stop us, will stop our progress.”

In a Facebook livestream on August 5, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said he had studied a classified report that was prepared during the tenure of third President Serzh Sargsyan.

“In essence, our country is in an institutionally paralyzed state during the time period of the revolution [last year], before that, and, in some sense, after it,” he had said, in particular.
