A Russian soldier was found dead in an apartment in Gyumri, Armenia.

On Tuesday at about 11։55am, police received a call from the Gyumri ambulance station that an ambulance staff was dispatched to an apartment on a call, and where they had found the dead body of Russian citizen Aleksandr Babushkin, 23.

Police officers, investigators, and a forensic doctor also arrived at the scene.

The forensic doctor reported that scratches were detected on the face, right hand, and right leg of the body, shamshyan.com reported  .

A forensic medical examination has been ordered.

According to the source, Babushkin was serving as a contract soldier at the 102nd Russian military base in Gyumri, and he was a sergeant.
