YEREVAN. - A large procession against operation of the Amulsar gold mine began in Yerevan.

Activists from Jermuk who arrived in the capital city to participate in the mentioned procession also joined the protesters in Yerevan.

They urge everyone to join the procession, and also note that their struggle is far from political.

“As soon as the Cabinet legitimizes our decision to save Amulsar, we will no longer take the streets, we will not go against the Government,” the residents of Jermuk say.
