Armenia does not intend to apply to the structures of the Eurasian Union (EAEU) in order to postpone the increase in customs duties on cars determined by the rules of the EAEU, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told reporters on Monday.

According to the prime minister, one should not rely on these delays.

“We must work on development, on increasing our effectiveness. Concerns about the prices that we once experienced have already been overcome through the elimination of monopolies,” he said.

According to him, they are introducing such changes in order to create favorable working conditions for employees, and all this ‘will help maintain equilibrium’

Touching upon the issue of inflation, he noted that society in Armenia today does not expect any inflation, and this helps to keep inflation at a rather low level.
