President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian today received Chairman of the State Military Industry Committee at the Ministry of Defense of Armenia Avetik Kerobyan and Director of Chessify Gor Vardanyan.

The director of Chessify introduced the programs and areas of activities of the company and stated that the company develops technological solutions in the field of chess through the application of elements of artificial intelligence.

The opportunities for cooperation within the scope of the ATOM (Advanced Tomorrow) presidential initiative were also touched upon. President Sarkissian informed that this initiative, which is targeted at the development of science and the latest technologies in Armenia, is aimed at bringing large international technology companies to Armenia so that they work with Armenian companies to implement research and other projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, mathematical modeling and large-scale data management.

President Sarkissian stated that ATOM will not only contribute to Armenia’s technological advancement, but will also create new opportunities for the local companies operating in the mentioned sectors.
