YEREVAN. – At its meeting today, the Armenian government decided to postpone the payment of value added tax for PROJECT INTER-INVEST company for a period of 3 years within the framework of the investment program.

According to another decision, the same company will be exempt from customs duties under the investment program.

The question was presented by Deputy Minister of Economy Varos Simonyan. He noted that PROJECT INTER-INVEST company is engaged in the production and transportation of flour. He added that within the framework of the presented investment program, the company intends to invest about 2.5 billion drams for equipment acquisition.

According to another government decision, a customs tax break was granted to TEXAS PRODUCTION company. The Deputy Minister noted that the products imported by this company will be used for clothing production.

PM Nikol Pashinyan, in turn, stated that today decisions on investments of 12.8 billion drams were made.
