YEREVAN. – The bill proposes to lower the age limit for those with higher education who plan to become advisers to people holding high government positions. This was stated at the November 18 sitting of the National Assembly of Armenia during the discussion of the bill on amendments to the law on State Service, by the author of the bill, MP Vagharshak Hakobyan from the governing My Step bloc.

The MP, in particular, noted that as of today, the aforesaid limit is set at the age 30, and he proposes to lower it to 25. At the same time, Hakobyan noted that only those who have five years of professional experience in the respective field can apply for such a position. It is proposed to liberalize the requirement of work experience down to 3 years.
