Former Prime Minister of Italy, leader of the Forward, Italy Party Silvio Berlusconi fell during the Congress of the European People’s Party in Zagreb and was transferred to a hospital in Milan with an injury, reports RIA Novosti.

“He didn’t have any fracture. He only has a bruise,” the statement of Berlusconi’s headquarters reads.

According to the local presses, the 83-year-old politician was injured after he was pushed and shoved by people who wanted to take a selfie with him. At the end of the Congress, Berlusconi returned home in a plane, and he underwent checkups at the hospital.
