During his working visit to the United Arab Emirates, Armenia’s President Armen Sarkissian met with chairman and CEO Joe Kaeser of Siemens company, in Abu Dhabi.

The interlocutors discussed the prospects of implementing joint projects in modern technologies, artificial intelligence, as well as electricity management. An agreement was reached to set up working groups in the near future to explore opportunities for broader cooperation in these areas.

Reference was made also to the implementation of joint programs and exchange of experience in education and scientific research, as well as to the possibilities of cooperation in the framework of the Presidential initiative ATOM (Advanced tomorrow), which is directed at the development of science and technologies in Armenia.
