YEREVAN. – Raising public confidence in the judiciary is an important goal of the Armenian government, and it will be achieved. Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan said this in Yerevan on December 9, at the 3rd Armenian-Georgian law forum.

According to him, the judicial systems of Armenia and Georgia face such problems, and both states can overcome those problems through cooperation.

"I attach great importance to the cooperation between Armenia and Georgia in all spheres," Avinyan added. “Reforms in the justice sector are crucial for the Armenian government, especially in terms of specifying the results of the reforms. In this context, the existence of an independent, corruption-free, and accountable judiciary in Armenia is vital."
