YEREVAN. – The man who fired shots in Erebuni Plaza hotel was taken to a police station, accompanied by Acting Chief of Police Arman Sargsyan—and in his service car (PHOTOS). This was reported by the Police information service.

At 2:40pm today, Police received a call that there was a man who had fired shots inside Erebuni Plaza Hotel in downtown Yerevan. Police left for the scene.

The Police leadership, led by Acting Chief of Police Arman Sargsyan, held talks with the gunman, after which he surrendered the firearm.

There are no injured.

The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
