Turkey’s first professional boxer Karpis Zakarian died at the age of 90, Agos newspaper reported.

Zakarian became a preofessional boxer at the age of 24.  

The memorial service for Zakarian will be held at the Armenian Church of the Three Altars inn Istanbul. He will be buried at Sisli Armenian cemetery.
