At least now it is necessary to take urgent measures to not let the coronavirus spread. This is what deputy of the Prosperous Armenia faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Arman Abvoyan wrote on his Facebook page.

“When the Prosperous Armenia faction was constantly saying that there is a risk of penetration of the coronavirus into Armenia, the government would say everything is fine and there is no need for further action. At least now the government should take urgent measures to not let the virus spread.

There is a need to take drastic steps to prevent the sharp inflation of the prices of medicine and anti-virus hygienic accessories (i.e. face masks) and punish those who take advantage of the panic and increase the prices of drugs and face masks.

It is time to treat the risk of spread of the virus seriously as soon as possible.

I am certain that if there is a lack of official news, there will be more panic. This is why I call on the relevant authorities to inform citizens about preventive actions as promptly as possible,” he stated.
