One of the people who died of the coronavirus yesterday was from the Aghdzk village of Armenia’s Aragatsotn Province. As reported head of the village Artur Avetisyan to Armenian News-NEWS.am, the 61-year-old woman contracted the virus during her mother’s funeral.

“She had a fever, was transferred to the hospital and died there,” the village head stated.

The deceased woman’s sister also died of the coronavirus two days ag and was also infected during the funeral. Nevertheless, there were not many people at the funeral, and according to the village head, there were only ten people.

Currently, the deceased woman’s family members are at the hospital and have also been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

The village head stated that there are about ten people infected with the coronavirus in Aghdzk village.
