Based on the Russian government’s decision posted on the official legal information portal of the government, Senator Igor Ghahramanyan has been appointed first deputy health minister of Russia.

Ghahramanyan is a member of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation and used to hold the position of first vice-chairman of the social policies committee of the Federation Council.
