The indicators of the epidemic in Armenia are showing signs of weak and initial stabilization again. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated during a briefing held after the session of the Commandant’s Office today.

“Of course, we can’t say the situation has become ultimately stable, but there are signs. There is a very high bar for stabilization. In essence, every day, fewer and fewer people are in need of hospitalization. If we can maintain this trend, we will completely solve the problem with hospitalization and start overcoming the epidemic,” Pashinyan said and noted that even though most citizens of Armenia are wearing masks and following safety rules, the desired outcome has yet to be achieved.

“Yesterday Armenia reported that 775 patients with COVID-19 had recovered, and this is an exclusive indicator. In essence, the country has recorded reduction of active cases. Unfortunately, there are ten patients who died from the coronavirus and three patients who died from other diseases,” he said.
