In Tandzut community of Armenia’s Armavir Province, the 30 people who are infected with COVID-19 are from the Yazidi community of the village; Tandzut prefect Mkhitar Petrosyan informed Armenian News-NEWS.am about this.

"They are relatives who mainly communicate with each other. There is no specific source of infection; it seems the infection came from outside. One person is in the hospital, the rest are at home,” the village head added.

Two coronavirus-related deaths have already been registered in Tandzut; the dead were brothers.

There are about 50 isolated people in the village.
