YEREVAN. – Aren Bablumyan, Director of “Heratsi” Hospital Complex N1 in Yerevan, and 19 other employees of this medical center have been diagnosed with the coronavirus, and they have been isolated. Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU) chief of staff Shushan Danielyan stated this in a conversation with NEWS.am Friday.

"In total, 90 such cases have taken place so far, but 70 of them have already recovered and returned to work. Everyone has kept the periods [for isolation], they had been isolated; there is no danger for other employees.

The director was confirmed with the virus yesterday, at the moment he has been isolated, his condition is normal, when the result of the second test comes negative, he will only then return to work.

Those from the medical workers who could self-isolate are self-isolated. But we have a specially isolated area in the university hospital, and the employees who do not have the corresponding conditions for isolation are isolated there,” she added.

Danielyan emphasized that there is no problem in terms of serving patients at this hospital, as all safety rules are observed there.
