A driver citizen of Armenia had left for Chumlaki village of Georgia to purchase peaches. The citizen got tested for COVID-19 on the border once and tested negative, but after a double test, the citizen tested positive, as reported the Public Health Center of the Gurjaani Municipality in Georgia.

The citizen is currently at Vakhtang Botchorishvili Clinic, Georgia Online reports.

The epidemiologists in Chumlaki village have confirmed the possible contacts of the driver with the residents and say this is a case of a person who has come from another country and it is factually impossible to establish the initial source.
