Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko has declared that Russia is concerned about the escalation of the situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border and will do everything possible to stop the escalation, TASS reports.

“We are very concerned about this situation. We will do everything possible to stop the escalation and the military operations and find mutually acceptable solutions within the framework of the negotiations. The situation is really very troubling,” Matviyenko told reporters.
