Ambassador of Armenia to the Russian Federation Vardan Toghanyan has called on Russian-Armenians to not participate in any initiative, demonstration or assembly in order to not cause more tension.

Toghanyan added that the Embassy of Armenia is receiving information about citizens’ intentions to hold demonstrations in this or that part of Moscow and other cities across Russia and asked Russian-Armenians to not make calls on the Internet and not disseminate videos and photos that may contribute to the already tense situation.

Toghanyan also told the Armenians of Russia that they need to be more united, express a common stance, coordinate actions and prevent any provocation. He also said the Embassy of Armenia continues to work promptly and is constantly in contact with Armenian community organizations and the Russian authorities.
