The National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia has uncovered money laundering cases years ago by a group of officials, including Gagik Beglaryan, the former mayor of Yerevan.

And in another criminal case under investigation by the NSS, evidence was obtained that the aforesaid official had illegally taken possession of 27 community-owned properties.
