YEREVAN. – On the initiative of the parliamentary faction of the opposition Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), hearings are being held Thursday in the National Assembly, and on the topic of application of penalties, fines, and interest rates on loans and other overdue liabilities, their forgiveness, and some other loan issues in the banking system.

MPs from the PAP, opposition Bright Armenia Party, and ruling My Step bloc, as well as representatives of the banking sector, various NGOs, the government, and some other stakeholders are taking part in the hearings.
