First President of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan today declared that avoiding the danger of a civil war and overcoming the domestic political discrepancies exclusively through the Constitution is the imperative to get out of the created crisis without new losses, iLur.am reported.

“A civil war will not only be the greatest gift for the Turkish-Azerbaijani alliance, but will also be devastating for Artsakh and Armenia and all Armenians around the world.

I want to hope that the political parties, public and political groups, power structures, reputable representatives of the intelligentsia who are concerned about the fate of the nation and all forces with a sense of responsibility in general will use their whole influence to avoid such a devastating prospect,” he said.
