YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: The Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] families who lost their homes as a result of the [recent] war, whose settlements came under the control of the enemy, are returning to Artsakh, [the capital] Stepanakert, Askeran, other settlements of Artsakh where the state rents apartments for them.

The head of the ruling faction of the Artsakh parliament, Artur Harutyunyan, said about that: "The vacant apartments have been urgently inventoried and continue to be inventoried; a contract is signed with the landlords who for some reason do not live in Artsakh now, but have a house [here], the Artsakh Republic transfers that amount instead of the resident.” He did not specify how much money this was about.

Many have still been given temporary accommodation in various administrative-territorial structures—kindergartens, cultural homes, and so on. And how much is the number of the homeless? Harutyunyan said an approximate number: about 25 thousand.
