Armenia’s former Deputy Minister of Agriculture Samvel Galstyan has died at the age of 72 as a result of the coronavirus, Galstyan's lawyer Vachagan Kosyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
To note, this ex-official was a defendant in the criminal case involving third President Serzh Sargsyan and several others.
From 2003 to 2016, Samvel Galstyan had worked as Deputy Minister of Agriculture, and in 2016, he had submitted his resignation from this office.
