As the President and Foreign Minister of Russia stated, the optimal option for a speedy solution to the issue of exchange of captives is exchange in the “all for all” format. This is what Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova said during today’s briefing.

Zakharova said the Russian side will provide support in regard to those issues, including with regard to the Russian peacekeeping contingent that was deployed along the length of the line of contact of the sides in Nagorno-Karabakh.

“The efforts for a solution to the issue of the return of prisoners of war and other persons being kept continue,” she added.
