At Thursday's Cabinet meeting of the government, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reflected on the "Travel without Covid-19" program, and noted that it was successfully launched in Armenia.

"The citizen's negative test [result] is confirmed by way of the online platform, as a result of which the citizen travels to the Russian Federation. The program has been successfully launched, and in the case of only seven citizens there was an obstacle to leave; the obstacle is of a technical nature, whereas the number of people departing is in the thousands.

It is important to note that there is also a large number of people coming to Armenia, and this is also important for the economy, as during the past almost a year, many compatriots wanted to come to Armenia to see their relatives, but did not have that opportunity," Pashinyan also said, and added that this also paves the way for tourism in Armenia.

Also, the PM informed that as of February 15, there will be four regular flights a day.
