The Kremlin is satisfied with the statements received from Yerevan that after a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of the Republic of Armenia came to the conclusion that he was not briefed correctly about the Russian-made Iskander missile system. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told about this to RIA Novosti.

"It is very important that the truth was restored in this matter," Peskov added.

Last week, Pashinyan had stated that the Iskander missiles had “not exploded” or “exploded by 10 percent” during the escalation of the conflict in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) last fall.

But on Monday, Armenpress reported—quoting the PM's spokesperson—that Putin and Pashinyan had discussed the aforesaid statement, and "As a result of combining the existing facts and data, the Prime Minister of Armenia concluded that he hadn’t been briefed correctly regarding this situation."
