YEREVAN. – The Azerbaijani troops continue to remain inside the state border of Armenia—at the parts of Syunik and Gegharkunik Provinces. The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has informed Armenian News-NEWS.am about this.

According to the information department of the ministry, during the talks, the Armenian side clearly stated its respective position, insisting that "these are our territories, and we are not going to withdraw even one meter from them; they [the Azerbaijani troops] are obligated to leave [from those territories]."

To note, negotiations took place Thursday between the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides in this regard.

Also, at the Security Council session on the same day, acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that he will petition to the CSTO in connection with the recent incidents in Syunik and Gegharkunik Provinces of Armenia.
