Criminal intelligence officers of the Police of Armenia in Talin town today received reports that a 43-year-old man, according to a previously reached agreement, had promised to give a female resident of Talin money to cast her vote in favor of one of the blocs running in the snap parliamentary elections.

As reported the Police of Armenia, on June 20 at 12:40 p.m. police took the woman, her husband and daughter to the local police station on suspicion of receiving an electoral bribe.

Police searched the woman and found banknotes in various nominal values which, according to her, were banknotes given for her husband and daughter to vote.

The circumstances are being established through an investigation.
