We are following the events in Afghanistan. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated this at Tuesday’s joint news conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in Moscow.
"We are for peace in the region, and will respect the choice of the people of Afghanistan," he added.
According to him, Armenia, as a CSTO member, would like to see peace and tranquility throughout area of this organization, and will make efforts to work out a single position ahead of the summit to be held.
