The US Department of State has approved the $500 million-dollar defense treaty with Saudi Arabia, the Pentagon reports.

This is the first major defense treaty with the Saudi Arabia during the Biden administration, which has slammed the authorities of Saudi Arabia for the state of human rights protection and involvement in the civil war in neighboring Yemen several times.
