YEREVAN. – The foreign ministers of Armenia and the Czech Republic have exchanged views on regional developments. The statement came from Czech FM Jakub Kulhanek at Friday’s joint news briefing with his Armenian counterpart, Ararat Mirzoyan, on the results of their meeting in Yerevan.

To note, the Czech official is in Armenia on a working visit.

Extending condolences to the families of the casualties of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war last fall, Kulhanek noted that the Czech Republic is ready to provide psychological assistance to those affected by this war and its resultant refugee.

In his words, the Czech Republic will continue to assist in the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan—and in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group. In this regard, the Czech official welcomed the New York meeting between the FMs of the two countries—and under the auspices of the Minsk Group.

To note, before coming to Armenia, Jakub Kulhanek had been in Azerbaijan.
