MOSCOW. – Specialists from the humanitarian response center of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, together with representatives of a charitable foundation, provided humanitarian assistance to large families and displaced persons living in one of the remote regions of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), reported the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry.

The Russian peacekeepers held a humanitarian action in Gishi village of Martuni region. More than 2 tons of humanitarian cargo—school supplies, shoes, clothes, and an uninterruptible power supply—was transferred to the locals.

A total of 950 needy residents of Gishi were assisted as part of this humanitarian action.
