The Yerevan-Gyumri highway made from concrete will be almost fully ready by the end of the year 2022. This is what Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia Gnel Sanosyan said during today’s discussion on the draft state budget for 2022 held as part of the joint session of parliamentary standing committees.

Moreover, according to him, the Yerevan-Ashtarak section of the highway is already operating. “The Ashtarak-Talin section won’t be fully complete, but construction of the last two sections (Talin-Lanjik and Lanjik-Gyumri) will be complete in 2022. As far as the Sisian-Kajaran road is concerned, we will still need to purchase 800 parcels of land from the owners along the length of the road,” the minister informed.
