All restaurants of Tashir Pizza pizzeria chain have reopened in Armenia. This is reported on the company's Facebook page.

These restaurants have been closed since November 5, when it became known that several dozen people had been taken to Yerevan hospitals with symptoms of food poisoning.

And within a few days, the number of these people increased sharply, reaching 179.

A criminal case has been filed in connection with these incidents.

The Food Safety Inspectorate Body and the Ministry of Health of Armenia on Wednesday issued a joint statement on the results of the inspections that were carried out at several restaurants of this pizzeria network and of the laboratory tests. Accordingly, the Caesar salad and other chicken poultry dishes being served at this pizzeria chain did not meet the established food safety norms. Food safety violations were found also in the Caesar salad dressing, marinated mushrooms, sausage, sliced sausage, cooked mushrooms, grated cheese, and chicken core.
