The Republic of Armenia Ministry of Defense (RA MOD) has categorically denied the reports about a new advance by the units of the Azerbaijani armed forces.
According to the MOD, "in the mentioned area, which is under the control of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani units have several positions, which, due to not being equipped, cannot be used during the winter period. Now, in connection with the change in weather conditions, the Azerbaijani military is just returning to those positions.
There can be no question of any [new] advance. The RA Armed Forces completely carry out the tasks set before them, both in that as well as in all other parts of the border, including monitor any movement of the Azerbaijani armed forces and keep the situation under supervision."
